DESOTO (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A North Texas woman Desoto Police believed was kidnapped in Lancaster on Thursday has been found safe in Laredo.
Investigators announced early Friday morning that 37-year-old Lacy Lyn Overby will be reunited with her family soon.
She was reported missing after last being seen at a Taco Casa near I-35 and Parkerville Road around 3:30 p.m. buying a meal for a homeless man who became authorities lead suspect in her disappearance.
The unidentified man is Hispanic, bald, between 25 to 35 and was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt.
Authorities did not reveal the circumstances as to how Overby was found or if her alleged kidnapper had been arrested.
The CLEAR Alert activated following Overby’s disappearance has been canceled.
