(WBAP/KLIF) – Actor Harrison Ford had a close call with an American Airlines plane bound for Dallas.
The Star Wars actor was cleared to land in a small plane he was piloting on a runway at John Wayne Airport in Orange County California except he didn’t aim for the runway and instead landed on a taxiway.
On that taxiway was an American Airlines 737.
Fort Worth-based American says they are aware of the incident and have reported it to both the FAA and the NTSB.
They also say their aircraft was not moving and was simply waiting on clearance from Air Traffic Control.
The American Airlines flight then left Orange County for Dallas.
