(WBAP/KLIF) – Despite an overall decline in brick-and-mortar stores nationwide, Barnes and Noble is opening over 60 new stores. Analysts say that since Barnes and Noble revamped their business model, the bookseller has been able to complete with online shopping and stay relevant. Barnes and Noble now prioritizes customer preferences in each market instead of using a one size fits all approach for all of their locations.
