(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – Fair Park First oversees Fair Park, and contracted The Oak View Group to run the day to day operations. Last spring, Fair Park First accused The Oak View Group of misusing funds and called for an audit. On Wednesday, the findings of that audit were presented to the board in a closed session. Fair Park First told WFAA TV that about $5.7 million dollars were misused, and that they plan to work with their attorney to recover all the money that was misused. However, although there was a misuse of funds all money spent went to Fair Park in some way.
