Grammy Award winning artist Erykah Badu is partnering with DART for her upcoming birthday bash!
Sweepstake winners will get the chance to attend the event on Saturday, February 24th.
“Four lucky riders and their plus ones will have full access, including a VIP section, to come out and enjoy everything that Ms. Badu has to provide to the North Texas area and to support Dart,” Assistant VP of External Relations, Gordon Shattles, said.
He adds that they’re hoping this boosts Dart ridership as well as the DFW’s economy.
“Everything that Dart does to connect and unite all of our thirteen service area cities together has been, I think, a real boom for the economy of North Texas,” Shattles said. “It’s really become an economic driver for the region.”
The winners will also be amongst the first to see the new Badu Bus and Rail designs. The designs will showcase feature artwork and images of Badu until the end of the year.
