DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Senator John Cornyn says it is not easy but it sure is important that Republicans keep their promise when it comes to healthcare.
Senator Cornyn says the House healthcare plan that some republican senators have problems with is a work in progress.
“With the courage of our convictions, that with competition and freedom of choice, will produce a better product and a cheaper product that people will buy, I think that we are going to be successful,” said Cornyn.
Cornyn says the Congressional Budget Office report on the number of people who will eventually be uninsured is important but not the final word. He says with more choices the coverage numbers will improve significantly.
