Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – DART is planning to pick up where Fort Worth’s new TEXRail line leaves off, essentially connecting downtown fort worth and Plano by train.
The Trinity Metro’s TEXRail line opened in February and runs all The way to DFW airport.
But, DART has announced it’s looking to add a ‘Cotton Trail Line,” which runs from DFW airport all the way to Plano.
Passengers would likely have to transfer from TEXRrail to DART, so it wouldn’t be a straight shot.
The plan is for the new line to open in three years.
