Keller (WBAP/KLIF) – Keller Police say they have caught a 15 year old boy who was amusing himself earlier this week by making false 9-1-1 calls. The unidentified boy allegedly made the first false call late Sunday night telling the 9-1-1 operator there had been a shooting at a home near Rufe Snow Drive and Shady Grove Road. Officers who went there found bewildered residents who had no idea why the police had been called. The same thing happened Monday night, but to a different neighbor. Again, there had been no shooting, and there was no problem. Police managed to trace the calls to the teenager, who told them he just wanted to sit on his roof, watch the police response, and see what would happen. The case has been turned over to Tarrant County Juvenile authorities. Because of his age the boy will not be publicly identified.
