Houston, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Houston Police Department has canceled an Amber Alert issued earlier this week for a baby girl.
Six-week old Shamali Flores was found save this morning in a Southwest Houston apartment. She was unharmed, but being check at an area hospital as a precaution.
The baby was reported missing after her mother was found stabbed to death Tuesday.
The baby’s father was found in San Antonio. He said was not involved in the stabbing an is co-operating with police.
An investigation continues.
