Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Mavericks opened their new NBA season Wednesday night in the American Airlines Center with a video tribute to the American flag and the national anthem. It was produced by the team, and highlighted the presence of the flag during the momentous moments and events of the Mavs 38 year history. The team then stood together with hands over their hearts during the playing of the national anthem.
