DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas Police officer turned himself in to law enforcement in Denton County to face stalking and burglary charges.
Sergeant Gregory Epley is accused of taking belongings from his ex-wife’s home in Aubrey.
Aubrey Police Lieutenant William Townsend says they investigated after Epley said something about it in court.
“He actually admitted in open court during their civil proceeding that he had been in her residence, in our city, without her knowledge or consent,” Lt. Townsend said.
Epley is accused of convincing their daughter into letting him and his girlfriend in through a window.
Epley has been put on administrative leave in Dallas while Dallas Internal Affairs investigates.
He has been with the department for 16 years.
