FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) A baby was born at the hospital, but no doctors or nurses were around. The Fort Worth mother and baby are just fine after she gave birth in a parking garage. Natalie Diaz tried to get to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, which is just 15 minutes from her house, but only made it into a parking space. Diaz says that’s when she felt a tremendous pressure and knew it was time. The child’s father flagged down a security guard who called for help, but Diaz was already giving birth in the car when nurses arrived. Diaz says she delivered and managed to get the baby to breathe. The baby boy is her third child.
