Tulsa (AP) – Ten microfilm Bibles that traveled to space aboard the NASA Apollo missions are locked in an Oklahoma court vault while a legal battle rages in two states over their rightful owner. They are awaiting a May 3 hearing in Tulsa over who rightfully owns them. The case pits a Texas state agency against author Carol Mersch and has dragged on for six years. The author says if she wins, she’ll donate some of the Bibles to museums or seminaries around the world.
