FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – A small ceiling fire was quickly extinguished at an east Fort Worth gun range.
The fire happened on Saturday night at the Winchester Shooting Gallery on Lancaster Avenue.
Fort Worth firefighters were quick to respond to the fire and brought it under control.
Battalion Chief Ralph Diamond said the fire was contained to the drop down ceiling at the range that includes a gun store and gunsmith shop under the Winchester name.
A fire investigator is inspecting the damaged to determine the cause, and adds that gun ranges pose a problem during a fire because of the presence of gun powder and cleaning solvents.
