Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – It’s not a time to confront, but to get busy…that’s what one spokesman for the anti-police brutality rally Thursday night in downtown Dallas said.
“People might have a chance to grieve,” said the Reverend Jeff Hood. “Let off some steam, and to network, and get to know each other, connect with each other, so that we can effect change in terms of police brutality here in Dallas.”
Hood said police brutality was just as bad, or worse than in St. Paul Minnesota and Baton Rouge Louisiana, where police shootings have killed two people in as many days.
The crowd generally stayed to one side of the park, with the police looking on from a distance.
