FARMERSVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) – A body discovered near Lake Lavon could be that of a missing woman.
An anonymous tip Thursday night led police to a heavily wooded area along Highway 78 and County Road 551.
Jessie Bardwell, 27, had moved to Richardson from Mississippi last year to be near her boyfriend, according to family members.
She was last seen alive on surveillance video at her apartment’s fitness center on April 29.
Bardwell’s boyfriend, Jason Lowe, was arrested after police said they found blood and other evidence in his SUV.
He’s being held on a murder charge.
The Collin County Medical Examiner is working to identify the remains.
