CELINA (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Frisco man accused of approaching young girls and asking them to pose nude has been arrested.
The Celina Police Department said Jonathan Ong Aviles turned himself in Monday and was taken to the Collin County Detention Center on two warrants for “Assault Causes Physical Contact” with bonds totaling $4,000.
Last Friday, investigators identified Aviles as the suspect they had been looking for.
The arrest stemmed from a May 3rd incident, when officers began investigating a “suspicious circumstance” at four different businesses in Celina that employ young girls.
The department’s Chase Guidera said that one victim told investigators that Aviles came into the store she worked at, allegedly claimed to be a producer shooting a video for a popular TV show and wanted clothes for the video.
She said he asked her to try on clothes and allegedly put his hands around her waist before he asked her what her most attractive quality was.
In another incident, Aviles allegedly touched a victim inappropriately above the waist.
Guidera said in each incident, Aviles allegedly asked the victims how they felt about posing nude and traveling to Los Angeles.
Before Aviles turned himself in, the department said it’s greatest focus was to identify the suspect and prevent a possible tragic outcome.
They said they were concerned that if the suspect had been allowed to continue, a more vulnerable victim may not have had the chance to say “no”.
