(WBAP/KLIF) – A Collin County man could spend the rest of his life in jail after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a disabled child.
The sentence of 40 years was handed down to 81-year-old Henry Fletcher.
Fletcher, from Farmersville, was accused of coaxing a 14-year-old girl into his car, taking her to his house and sexually assaulting her. Prosecutors then said he dropped the child off a few blocks from her house.
DNA was later found on the child and matched to Fletcher.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said, “Special needs children are the most vulnerable members of our community and anyone that harms them will be vigorously prosecuted.”
