(WBAP/KLIF) — A child tragically drowned at the Apex Centre water park in McKinney, Texas over the weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday, and while officials confirmed the drowning involved a child, the victim was identified on social media as 9-year-old Amani Edward.
The city of McKinney expressed deep sadness over the loss of life and stated that the incident is still under investigation.
