(WBAP/KLIF) – ARLINGTON, TX – Arlington ISD has been approved to participate in the teacher incentive allotment program, allowing the district to offer teachers up to $36,000 more per year based on performance. Teachers can earn designations of recognized, exemplary, or master. Each designation comes with a corresponding pay raise. The program aims to reward exceptional teachers, and support teacher retention. Arlington ISD will implement the program in 24 campuses over the next two years, with pay outs starting in July 2028. Teachers can become TIA certified through local designation systems or national board certification, with evaluations based on student growth measures and classroom performance.
