Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has dropped a former Biden administration official from a leadership slot at West Point.
Driscoll posted on Wednesday that he was rescinding Jen Easterly’s offer to serve as the Robert F. McDermott Chair.
The position leads the Department of Social Services at the U.S. Military Academy. Easterly was set to move into that slot until Driscoll announced he was blocking her position.
