Dem Candidates Tout Backing From Pro-Trans Group

Several Democratic Senate candidates are celebrating endorsements from Reproductive Freedom for All, an advocacy group that promotes gender reassignment surgery for children, taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants and defunding the police.

Democratic contenders Janet Mills, of Maine, Chris Pappas, of New Hampshire, Roy Cooper, of North Carolina and Sherrod Brown, of Ohio, have each publicly praised endorsements from the organization, formerly known as NARAL Pro-Choice America.

Reproductive Freedom for All has built a record of pushing for progressive social policies well beyond abortion advocacy. The group has repeatedly attacked Republicans for supporting laws that protect minors from undergoing irreversible gender reassignment surgeries, which critics say is genital mutilation of children.
