Former New York Gov. George Pataki told Newsmax on Thursday that the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks brings back a “huge sense of loss” nearly a quarter century later.
“It’s still incredibly sad and just a horrible memory of hundreds, thousands of wonderful people who lost their lives that day,” Pataki said on “Newsline.” “And it’s just always something that when you think back on it, you just feel this huge sense of loss.
“And yet being down on ground zero this morning, you also have this sense of courage and inspiration because you’re showing the photos of the construction workers and the police and the fire [department] and the courage they had. The way they responded really inspired America and the world.”
