Authorities are investigating what they describe as an “intentional” explosion early Saturday morning at a Harvard University medical facility in Boston.
The incident occurred around 2:48 a.m. inside the Goldenson Building, part of Harvard’s medical campus. A fire alarm triggered a response from the Harvard University Police Department, and an officer arriving at the scene saw two unidentified individuals running from the building, according to a statement from university police.
The explosion took place on the building’s fourth floor. No injuries were reported.
