Reports: Ukraine Agrees to Trump’s Major Peace Deal

A senior U.S. official said Tuesday that a Ukrainian delegation has agreed with the United States on the terms of a potential peace deal, marking the most significant movement yet in Washington’s bid to restart negotiations to end the war.

The confirmation came as U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll held secret talks with a Russian delegation in Abu Dhabi on Monday, following a weekend round of discussions with Ukrainian officials in Geneva. The previously undisclosed meetings suggest the administration’s new diplomatic push is gaining momentum.

“The Ukrainians have agreed to the peace deal,” the U.S. official told ABC News. “There are some minor details to be sorted out but they have agreed to a peace deal.”
