Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Wednesday that state law enforcement is working with the FBI to “bring to justice” the suspect who shot and killed Charlie Kirk in Orem, Utah, earlier in the day.
“I just got off the phone with President [Donald] Trump. Working with the FBI and Utah law enforcement, we will bring to justice the individual responsible for this tragedy,” Cox said in a post on X.
The suspect remained at large after early reports that a man was taken into custody.
