What began in 2005 as The Midnight Radio Network has evolved into a nationally syndicated overnight staple, now reaching listeners across more than 150 stations. All viewpoints are welcome—Conservatives, Liberals, Tea Partiers, and even Tree Huggers climb aboard for a smart, spirited ride through the day’s news.
Meet the Hosts
Eric Harley
With more than two decades behind the mic, Eric has become a familiar voice to late-night listeners nationwide. He co-hosted the top-rated morning show on Dallas/Fort Worth’s WBAP 820 AM / 93.3 FM and previously hosted the Pure Gold format for ABC Radio Networks. After years as producer, he stepped into the host role in 2001 and teamed with Gary in 2005. Together, they took the helm of Red Eye Radio in 2012.
Off-air, Eric is an avid runner and devoted family man with a passion for service, volunteering with organizations like the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association—a perspective that fuels his positive approach on-air every night.
Gary McNamara
Gary’s radio journey began at WJJL Niagara Falls, followed by major-market roles at WBEN Buffalo, WLS Chicago, and KXL Portland before landing in Dallas/Fort Worth at WBAP. With a background that ranges from janitor and machinist to stand-up comedian, Gary brings a grounded, “regular guy” perspective to the show. His passion for freedom, capitalism, and American grit shapes his commentary and connects deeply with listeners. When he’s not behind the mic, Gary can be found on the golf course or in a neighborhood pickup basketball game.
