KENNEBUNKPORT (WBAP/KLIF News) — President George H.W Bush has returned to the Bush family compound in Maine.
The 41st President’s spokesman posted a photo of Bush on Twitter waving to well-wishers in Kennebunkport, Maine Sunday afternoon. It’s Bush’s first visit to his summer home since being hospitalized last month, just days after his wife and former First Lady Barbara Bush died of heart complications.

Bush made the trip a little more than two weeks after he was discharged from Houston Methodist Hospital due to an infection that spread to his blood.
It also came one day after he watched the full three-hour production on “Hamilton” in his hometown on Houston.
