DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Department is investigating a Thursday shooting outside of a West Dallas business.
According to Police, the shooting happened outside Showtech Productions near Mockingbird Lane and Irving Boulevard. Sgt. Warren Mitchell said Thursday that investigators believe the suspect was a former employee who confronted two current employees about a trip he wasn’t invited on.
“The argument lead outside,” said Sgt. Mitchell. “At which time the suspect produced a handgun and began firing his weapon at the two adult male victims.”
Mitchell said a third employee of the business came outside and started firing shots at the suspect who jumped into a dark colored sedan and drove away. It’s not known if the suspect was hit by gunfire.
Anyone with any information on the shooting is asked to call Police.
