FORT WORTH – (WBAP/KLIF) – American Airlines appears to have caught Swift-Kelce fever, or is working to delight the pair’s fans by announcing new flights to the Super Bowl on its Kansas City to Las Vegas runs. Flight 1989 will run twice from Kansas City to Las Vegas, the year of singer Taylor Swift’s birth, as well as flight 87; Travis Kelce’s jersey number, returning from Vegas to KC after the game.
The Kansas City Chiefs are facing the San Fransisco 49ers for Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, on February 11th. Travis Kelce plays tight end for the Chiefs; world renowned musical artist Taylor Swift has been appearing at Kelce’s games in the role of his apparent girlfriend. The romance has been delighting the public for several weeks, with Swift fans in full support, showing up at games sporting Kelce numbers and attire, and holding signs appearing to approve of the romance.
Swift will be playing a concert in Tokyo across the international date line, so it’s not a given, though suspected she will make a direct eastward flight after that concert to touch down in Vegas in time for the Super Bowl game, and to support Kelce.
